2018 to 2026

The projects here begin in 2018. The thirty-two years before were spent in the Indian Army — operational, institutional work that belongs to the service, not to a page like this. What follows is mine.

What those years developed was a disciplined, solution-first approach to complex challenges — the kind that gets tested on assignments others couldn’t complete and briefs that had already failed. Three formal awards, given specifically for outcomes delivered, reflect the consistency of that approach.

These projects look diverse because they are. Different roles, different organisations, different problems — but one consistent approach: understand what is actually broken, question what everyone accepts as fixed, and build something that works. Each one began not with a brief but with a problem worth solving.

AI-Powered E-Commerce Support Triage

AI-powered e-commerce support triage workflow — urgency detection and routing

Built for a D2C brand drowning in support messages across WhatsApp, email, Instagram, and marketplace panels — with urgent complaints routinely buried behind routine “where’s my order” queries. This workflow reads every incoming message, flags urgency and sentiment, and routes it in real time. Urgent cases get an immediate SLA clock and auto-escalate to the owner if unresolved. Every case is logged twice — on arrival and on resolution — creating a defensible audit trail for returns and disputes.

The AI never replies to a customer. It never promises a refund. It only detects and routes — every response stays human.

AI-Powered KYC Risk Triage Automation — BFSI

KYC risk triage automation for BFSI compliance — AI-assisted classification

Built for a bank managing Canadian and US compliance requirements — where high-risk onboarding cases were getting buried behind routine volume in a strict first-in-first-out queue, producing a formal regulatory finding. This workflow reads every incoming KYC case, classifies risk level, and sorts the highest-risk cases to the front of the line — before a human opens the file. Every case is logged the instant it’s classified, and high-risk cases are automatically escalated for mandatory human review.

The AI never approves. It never rejects. It detects and prioritises — the compliance officer always makes the final call.

Gurezi.com — AI Strategy & Adoption Advisory

Gurezi AI Strategy and Adoption Advisory — founded 2026, Delhi/NCR

The journey began in 2005 with professional use of Free & Open-Source Software. From March 2023, deep adoption of AI tools — ChatGPT and virtually every major AI platform — transformed the speed and scale of work across all projects. As Regional Head at CMS Meerut, an initiative to train a regional team of 35 persons on Microsoft Copilot produced visible impact at the highest company levels within 6 months.

Drawing on decades of military leadership, security audits, and risk management, a unique perspective emerged — one that addresses the non-tech, human-facing side of AI adoption. Gurezi was established as an MSME-registered independent advisory practice offering AI Strategy & Adoption Advisory to organisations in India and globally.

Squelch: Push-to-Talk Walkie-Talkie App

Born from two real needs: close coordination at a charitable organisation without phone calls, and the question — what does communication look like when the internet breaks down? The Iran-Israel-US situation and talk of cutting undersea cables sharpened that question. Press and hold to talk — everyone on that channel hears you live, one speaker at a time.

Squelch push-to-talk Android walkie-talkie app — open source, self-hosted
  • Android PTT app — voice, text, voice notes, and short video clips in organised channels
  • WhatsApp share integration via Android’s native share feature — no special integration needed
  • Built on free, self-hosted, open-source tools — sized for ~25 people
  • Status: Core features working — voice server deployment and push notifications in progress

CuraVeda — India’s First Complete Holistic Health Portal

CuraVeda holistic health portal — integrating Ayurveda, Yoga, Sujok and natural healing

This project has its roots not in a boardroom — but in the Himalayas, in the middle of winter, in an avalanche-prone zone. In the early years of service in the 1990s, a soldier from my Company developed a severe toothache requiring Root Canal Treatment. Medical evacuation meant a 10-day turnaround — 6 to 7 days on foot through peak winter snow. A local traditional healer cured the soldier completely, in one sitting, in 10 minutes. That single encounter changed everything.

What followed was a 30+ year self-taught journey across Yoga, Ayurveda, Acupressure, Sujok, Reiki (3rd Degree), and Natural Healing. Co-founded with my wife — a dedicated knowledge platform integrating all modalities into one exhaustive, dynamic library.

The Indian Army GS Publication Botanical Plants of the Himalayas — surveyed between the 1850s–1900s, with detailed drawings, altitude, location, and medicinal properties — is a priceless document. If anyone knows where a copy can be obtained, please do share.

Submission to Prime Minister’s Office & Finance Minister of India

Policy submission to PMO and Finance Minister — drone-based cash logistics national initiative

After conducting the drone cash logistics trials, the research, data, and conviction were strong enough to take this directly to the highest levels of government. A formal suggestion was submitted to the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Finance through the Republic India platform, proposing drone-based cash logistics as a national initiative.

  • Eliminate dependence on road networks for ATM cash replenishment in remote and hilly areas
  • Significantly reduce fleet, fuel, security, and manpower costs
  • Create thousands of trained drone pilot jobs in remote sectors across India
  • Position India as a global leader in drone-based financial logistics and the Low-Altitude Economy

Pioneered India’s First VTOL & BVLOS Drone Cash-Logistics Trial

World-first VTOL BVLOS drone cash logistics trial India — 719km 20 flights zero incidents

In remote mountainous regions frequently cut off by landslides, floods, and natural calamities, traditional ATM cash replenishment relies on cash vans travelling up to 150 km daily with five-person crews — costly, risky, and often impossible when terrain becomes impassable. This trial demonstrated that VTOL and BVLOS drones, in partnership with Redwing Labs, could cover up to 80 km per delivery across terrain unreachable by road. 319 GB of raw footage sifted and edited at NeoClassics Studio over 6 days.

NCC Hindi Textbook Conversion — Solving a 4-Decade Problem

NCC Hindi textbook conversion — solving 55-year language gap for 6 lakh cadets across India

Since 1965, NCC curriculum books were written entirely in English — yet teaching and examinations across India were conducted in Hindi. For over four decades, this language gap quietly disadvantaged hundreds of thousands of cadets. During COVID 2020, working with Sub Maj Vagji Bhai, complete NCC textbooks were converted from English to Hindi using free, open-source tools. Published on the DGNCC national portal and adopted by NCC units and Group HQs across India.

Overnight Company Research — Canadian University Co-op Job Fair

Overnight research brief for 46 Canadian companies — Co-op job fair 2018

In January 2018, with less than 10 hours to prepare, a complete research brief was compiled overnight on 46 Canadian engineering and energy companies attending a university Co-op job fair. Each company profile covered background, key leadership, mechanical engineering opportunities, co-op details, and sharp targeted questions for the booth.

The student who used this brief went on to secure a well-paying Co-op internship. This is where the approach that now defines all of Gurezi’s work first showed itself.

The build never stops. Neither does the discipline behind it.
